Naneum

Naneum is created by Jon Solo. Piano based ambient music mixed with analog synths. Based out of Brooklyn, NY, Solo has spent most his career on the road as a sideman backing up artists such as Angus and Julia Stone, Brett Dennen, Dope Lemon, and Passenger.

After releasing three full-length albums using analog synths, drums, bass, and other instruments, Jon Solo brings it back to his roots and only plays the piano.  Each song was  improvised with no preconceived ideas.  "I just hit record and started playing, not thinking of what was to come." The result is a 14 song album. Some of the motifs are reminiscent of children's songs, others dig deeper into a blissful ambient, melodramatic slumber.
